Ewert Hamburg

Company's History

1975: Manfred Peters founds one of the first private piloting services in Germany. Some time after that his son-in-law decides to launch the Ewert company.

1981: The one-man business named G.R. Ewert is launched. It offers piloting services from the very beginning , as well as courier services later on.

1985: Construction of the main office building in Hamburg, Billwerder Ring, including a work shop.

1990: Vehicle fleet extended by the company's first BF3 cars (3rd generation piloting cars).

1991: Formation of the one-man business K.S. Ewert in Brandenburg. Its main service is piloting heavy and oversized transports.

1997: Both companies extend their service range by offering permit applications.

2001: G.R. Ewert and K.S. Ewert merge into one company: Ewert GmbH. In the same year the company decides to add construction site safety to its portfolio.

2016: The fleet is further extended by the addition of BF3+ and BF4 vehicles.


At the moment Ewert GmbH has around 30 staff members, who are eager to offer you an  "All-round carefree package", as well seperate services like:

  • Heavy and oversized load piloting (BF2 / BF3 / BF4)
  • Route planning and route surveying
  • Permit service (Certificate for §70; permits regarding §70, §29, §46 as well as EU-permits; special-use permits, official notifications and night-work permission for construction sites)
  • Construction site safety, removal of traffic signs and construction site delineators (according to MVAS 99)
  • Building site fences
